SURFDANCER

Nasce un nuovo giocattolo dall'esigenza di alcuni amici pescatori di avere un'esca dalla gittata estrema e di facilità di movimento, un po' sulla scia degli skipping lures, ma di dimensioni sostanziose e assetto galleggiante.
Dedicata a tutte quelle situazioni ove bisogna raggiungere un frangente lontano, tipo un reef basso maldiviano o per la pesca da riva.
Per ora due taglie, 22 cm per 115 grammi e 24 cm per 135 grammi, un autentico missile da usare preferibilmente con una canna dal tocco relativamente delicato, esattamente come stickbait e pencil poppers.
Ovviamente il solito acciaio passante da due millimetri e tutto a prova di bomba, dalla girella alla resinatura.

Born by the necessity of some anglers to have a lure that can be cast extremely far and at the same time that can be moved easily, a little resembling in that the old trusted skipping lures, but larger in size and with floating attitude.

Perfect for all those situations in which it's important to reack that distant breaker, like on a shallow maldivian reef or for shore fishing.

Up to now two sizes have been developed, 22 cm for 115 grams and 24 cm for 135 grams, a real rocket to be used better with a long rod with a soft tip like a stickbait and pencil popper.

As always AISI 316 through wire in 2mm size and foolproof material, from swivel to epoxy coating.

AIMARA

THE HUNT FOR SINKING TUNA STICKBAIT

Dopo tre anni di collaudi e il nuoto "felice" dell'ultimo prototipo, sono in direttura d'arrivo un gruppetto di stick appositamente disegnati per il tonno rosso in Mediterraneo:

Il tempo di prototipazione e sperimentazione è stato necessario per la serie di piccole problematiche che si sono verificate in pesca, cose non prevedibili a tavolino ma che vengono svelate e corrette alla luce dell'esperienza sul campo. Ora posso dire di essere altamente soddisfatto del risultato e tra pochi giorni i primi esemplari saranno pronti per il mercato.

Ma non solo lui, anche ricciole, lecce e pesci tropicali come GT e snapper saranno sensibili al suo appeal.

After three years of testing, and the "happy swam" of last prototype, they are going to be ready a small batch of sinking stikbaits especially developed for the Mediterranean Bluefin Tuna.

The long time of prototyping and field testing has been necessary due to the serie of minor problems that happened while fishing, things impossible to be expected while projecting in the lab but that can be discovered and corrected with the practical experience.

Now I can consider myself satisfied by the results and in few days the first specimen will be ready for the market.
 
Main target will be Bluefin Tuna, but while testing we also caught yellowfin tuna, sailfishes, cobia and GT, and it will surely be liked bi amberjack, leerfish and other predatory fishes.

MINI-ALLE'S COMING

In queste pagine di solito girano "popperoni per pescioni", ma le sfaccettature della pesca topwater sono mille; ecco perchè ogni tanto rispolvero una serie di microartificiali.
Questi popperini sotto sono appena stati sfornati, ora un giro di prove sul pesce e poi, se promossi a pieni voti, in produzione...
Li immagino perfetti soprattutto per le lampughe, ma anche per serra, spigole e chissà che altro predatore...

In these pages are usually pictured "big lures for big fishes", but topwater fishing has numerous aspects; that's the reason why sometimes I give the light to a small series of microlures.
These little poppers have just ccome out of the lab, now a series of field testing with the fishes and then, if fully approved, they'll go in production.
I imagine them right for mahimahi, but also for bluefishes, seabass and many other critters.

UN NUOVO PROTOTIPO NEL MAR ROSSO

Ennesimo viaggetto di test per i miei artificiali, questa volta nel Mar Rosso sudanese... oltre ai vecchi classici e a qualche giocattolo riveduto e corretto, ai quali dedicheremo il giusto spazio nei prossimi giorni, ha fatto il suo primo timido ingresso in società un nuovo "barattolotto legnoso"... non c'è ancora un nome, va migliorato, ma agli snapper e ai carangidi è piaciuto molto! Ci lavoreremo, in taglie e colori diversi.

 

Le influenze freshwater ci sono, sarebbe assurdo negarlo, tanto non si inventa più nulla da un pezzo, semmai si reinterpreta... ecco quindi un animaletto che galleggia e si immerge di poco "wobblando" duro.... vedremo il futuro cosa gli riserva!

A new prototype tested in the Red Sea, sudanese waters. It doesn't have a name yet but it's promising, worked well on reef fishes. It shows some clear freshwater influences, floats and runs and wobbles just under the surface. We'll be working on it in different sizes and colors in future.

GUINEA BISSAU, ESPERIMENTI E CONFERME

Un giretto a Kerè è perfetto per testare vecchi e nuovi artificiali di taglia ridotta..

I went to Kerè, Bijagos, Guinea Bissau, to experiment new and old lures.
The "bean" is working good but still need to be perfected.
The mini dorado of 16 grams can be considered complete, it was thought for Mediterranean dolphinfish but it works well also on snappers and jacks.
I also tried new shapes of sticks with good results.
And the Pato 45 was perfect to rise fishes from deep waters.

TESTING NEW SIZES OF RINGPOP MEGAMOUTH

Appena tornato dalla Nuova Caledonia, viaggio fantastico; ne ho approfittato per ultimare i test su alcuni nuovi modelli tra cui il Ringpop Megamouth 180gr:

entrambi con ottimi risultati nelle alte onde oceaniche all'esterno del reef e alle prese con pesci di ottima taglia.
Riuscito anche il Megamouth da 220 e un nuovo pencil che vi presenterò a breve.

I just came back from New Caledonia, where I ultimated the testing for some new model like the Ringpop Megamouth 180 and Megamouth Long 245, both worked with very good results in the big oceanic waves on the outside of the reef, dealing with fishes of very good size.
Very good results also for Megamouth 220 and a new pencil I'll introduce soon.
