L'avventura di Alle's lures è iniziata ormai tanto tempo fa, dapprima concentrata su popper, pencil e affini, non poteva mancare un progetto di una serie di stickbait: Nei post del passato in realtà sono passati diversi prototipi, spesso molto catturanti, ma ancora non avevo ben definito una traccia di sviluppo per delle esche che razionalmente riempissero delle nicchie particolari in pesca.
Da un paio di anni a questa parte ho lavorato su un progetto di tre modelli di stickbait che riempissero diverse esigenze; il primo lo abbiamo presentato alcuni mesi fa
http://alleslures.blogspot.it/2012/11/the-hunt-for-sinking-tuna-stickbait.html e si è trattato di uno stick affondante di ottimo successo in pesca, dal GT al tonno nel giro di alcuni anni di sperimentazione forse avendogli dedicato poche energie e occasioni; comunque il risultato finale ha soddisfatto me in primis, clienti e soprattutto pesci.
Alle's lures adventure began several years ago, first I concentrated on poppers, pencils and so on, but I couldn't miss a stickbait project. In past posts I developed several prototypes, often very succesful, but I had yet to define a development track for some lures that could especially fill some peculiar niches.
For a couple years I worked on a project including three different models of stickbaits to match different needs; first one we introduced some months ago http://alleslures.blogspot.it/2012/11/the-hunt-for-sinking-tuna-stickbait.html and it was a sinking lure that had great success with GT, tunas in some years of field testing, even if I dedicated few time to it; but the final result satisfied me, my customers and, most important, the fishes.
Il secondo che voglio presentare questo giro ha richiesto un lavoro di perfezionamento più assiduo e certosino; il target del progetto era uno stick dall'elevata galleggiabilità e allo stesso tempo dall'idrodinamica particolare da renderlo estremamente facile da maneggiare per ottenere un movimento molto seducente per i pesci.
Con svariate prove, riprove e test sul campo è nato il Valmar dalle caratteristiche pratiche assai peculiari.
Second stickbait I want to introduce this time has necessitated a longer work of refinement;
the target was a lure with very high flotation attitude and, at the same time, a special hydrodinamic shape to make it easy to work and to develop a very attracting movement.
After many tries and testing the "Valmar" was born, with some very peculiar carachteristics.
Prima caratteristica l'elevata galleggiabilità, che consente oltre ai classici recuperi stile "ripping" da stickbait, anche tutta una serie di movimenti superficiali in "waking" che non sono pane dei normali stick... può essere recuperato lentamente a fendere il pelo dell'acqua con un notevole wobbling, azione perfetta per attrarre cernie e altri grandi predatori "pigri"; fa la differenza specie in situazioni di acqua calmissima sia bassa che profonda, può essere usato in un palmo d'acqua come su 30 metri e oltre.
First the high floatability that allow, beside the usual "ripping retrieve" style, a new sereies ov moves in surface waking that are not easily achieved by common stickbaits....
it can be retrieved slowly breaking the surface film with a lot of wobbling, an action that resulted perfect for groupers and other lazy predators; it often makes the difference in flat water situations either shallow or deep, can be used in a foot of water or over 30 meters dropoff.
Il profilo provato e riprovato consente però anche una estrema facilità di manovra sui recuperi classici e veloci, la testa prende bene l'acqua e non salta fuori troppo facilmente come alcuni famosi stick; persino nell'onda frangente mantiene grande stabilità e capacità adescante per carangidi e soci.
The shape, tested again and again, allows also the usual fast retrieves with ease, the head catches very well the water and it doesn't jump out of the water easily like some other famous sticks;
even in the breaking wave and the surf it mantains great stability and luring capacity for GTs and friends.
Chi lo ha usato se ne è innamorato, per ora le taglie sono due:
20 cm per 130 grammi e 22 cm per 150 grammi, ma sono già in arrivo taglie sia più piccole che estreme; le finiture per ora sono le classiche alluminizzate, essendo riuscito a trovare la giusta combinazione di flash e robustezza, ma arrivano anche alcuni "solid color" tipo nemo o black.
Il materiale è il solito di primordine che abbiamo sempre usato e di cui andiamo orgogliosi.
Up to now, most of the users have fallen in love with it; sizes are two:
20 cm and 130 grams and 22 am and 150 grams, but smaller and bigger sizes are coming soon and already under testing; color patterns are the classic "aluminum" ones, with the right combination of flashes and solidity, but also some solid color like "nemo" or black can be done.
The components are the usual first quality of all Alle's lures production, selected wood, 2mm through wire, chromed inow ballast weight, NT swivel and multiple layer epoxy; we're proud of the resistence of our lures.

.... e poi abbiamo parlato di triade... già ce ne è un terzo con caratteristiche ancora diverse, più flat e stabile, adatto a ogni velocità di recupero e per lavorare decisamente sotto il pelo dell'acqua pur essendo galleggiante... il nome ancora non ce l'ha ma un aspetto sì e allora vi diamo un'anteprima di uno dei prototipi finali in battaglia:

we talked about a triad ... in fact there's a third model with different speciphics, flatter in the profile, very stable and adaptable to any retrieve speed to work quite deeper under the surface but still being floating... it hasn't a name yet, but it has a shape, so I can give a little anticipation with one of the final prototypes in the field:
Testare i nostri giocattoli è un compito piacevole ma che prendiamo molto sul serio, ci piace che i nostri artificiali portino con loro l'esperienza che li ha generati, e per esperienza intendo pesca e pesci... troppi esercizi di teoria ci sono in giro e, come dice un proverbio, "mai fidarsi di un cuoco magro" .
Testing our toys is a very pleasing task but we take it very seriously, we like that our lures bring with them the experience of real fishing that generated them, and I mean experienc with real fishes and real fishing... too many theoretical lures around and, like an old proverb says, "never trust a thin cook"
